Change machines??

We leave tomorrow for WDW and my husband just now is showing interest in pressed pennies. I was just wondering, should I go to the bank for quarters, or are there change machines we can access somewhere in the parks?

I would go to the bank before you leave. I don't remember seeing any change machines the last time we were there and we pressed lots of pennies

When my kids were little and wanted pressed pennies, we prepared before our trips. We bought some of those mini-M&M tubes. Then we ate the M&Ms (duh. and yum.) and used the tubes to stack 2 quarters - penny - 2 quarters - penny - etc.) in the tubes. Sometimes we collected pre-1982 pennies to use, because those don't have the added zinc. Or we just found very shiny new pennies.

I believe they still have change machines in the laundry facilities at the resorts, although I'm sure those will go away as they get the new systems.

We wound up getting a roll of quarters, a mini m&m tube for the pennies and quarters, and a mentor container for after the pennies are pressed!

We always throw a roll of pennies and quarters in our checked luggage.

We use the M&M's tube method for our girls and it is very convenient!

If you can check the coin rolls, do it. I carried on two quarter rolls in my purse and got special attention from security at the airport. They wouldn't believe they were quarter rolls at first and looked at my purse like it contained a bomb. The guy didn't even want to reach in for them, but he wouldn't let me get them out either
