I wouldn't expect much before New Year's. Depending on where you are in the country, rollout has been slower because they're using an orange vial Pfizer for peds, unlike when they just whipped out the existing in-market vials for the 12-15s on the last youth rollout.
Even the most motivated parents may be challenged to have a child be considered fully vaccinated by Christmas right now.
I think it depends on where you live. My daughter got her first dose today and will have her second dose on on 12/1. I could have even gotten her in on Monday for dose 1 but that didn't work for our schedule. It doesn't seem to be difficult here. I used the Walgreens website to schedule.
