Change in french fries at Disney World

I was back at the table and planning on splitting the meal with my daughter since neither of us can eat a full burger and I thought I was getting a full serving of fries. Whether it's listed on the menu that way or not, half an apple is not an even exchange and not worth the price of an adult meal. Shoot, the kids meals get two sides!

That's why I often get kids meals. It really isn't an equal exchange but it's considered that way by Disney. I just wanted you to be aware of that so you aren't blindsided next time.

we are headed back in 2 months and getting kids meals (or giving dd my fries in exchange for her sides)
is my plan :)

We just returned from a trip to Disney and sadly could not find safe fries for my kids anywhere. I tried to get some info through Special Diets first and was basically told to check with the restaurant when we get there. We gave up after a few and even the TS restaurants couldn't offer fries with advanced notice. They baked or roasted potatoes instead.

The Liberty Inn at Epcot was the biggest disappointment. Last year they offered fries that were just potato and salt cooked in canola oil. The fries they use now had a list of at least a dozen ingredients including multiple grains that are no go for all 3 boys. I hate that we put so much crap into our food in this country. It makes it so hard to find safe foods with multiple allergies.
