Chances of seeing Fantasmic! with late arrival on November 1?

So, we're arriving on Sunday evening. My BIL is flying and and we're picking him up at SNA around 6 PM (we'll be driving in from AZ and we're going to try really hard to be at the motel to check in at 4 PM. With any luck, the girls and I will be in the parks by 5:30 while DH picks up his brother at the airport). BIL hasn't been to DL since he was little, so I'd like to give him a great experience. Seeing as it's the off-season, F! is only happening on Sunday during our trip. There are two shows that night. Is there a chance that there will still be F! FPs for the second show available when we get into the park (5:30 for the girls and I. Closer to 7 for DH and BIL)? I haven't seen F! since they implemented the FPs system for it.

If FPs aren't available, is there a decent place for viewing outside of the FP area? DH uses an ECV. I may end up sitting out anyway, especially if strollers aren't allowed (DD1 will likely be asleep in her stroller by that time).

Thanks!

I was faced with the same dilemma. F! is only playing on the night that we fly into LAX around 3:30. With baggage, picking up a rental car, driving to the DLH and checking in, I'm figuring that the best case scenario is that we're at the park gates by 6:30, at which time I'm working on the assume that all fast passes for both shows would be long gone. Decided that the only way I could guarantee us a chance to see the show was to suck it up and pay for the F! package at the Blue Bayou.

All to say that you might want to look into whether there are dinner reservations available for the evening you arrive.

Unfortunately, sit-down dinner isn't in the cards with a 1-yr-old who's been in a car for 8+ hours already that day. The other people around us at Blue Bayou would hate us...

We also deal with food allergies, so food is difficult to begin with, and the ready-made "on-the-go" package is not a possibility.
