Chances of renting points for a OKW GrandVilla in Sept'05?

I am planning a WDW family reunion for Sept.11 through 16 of 2005. Thinking of trying to rent points for 2, 3BR Grand Villa's at OKW. Can anyone tell me if I should forget about it & book through CRO at another resort, or is there a good chance we can get them?

I think your chances are pretty good,if you can find an OKW owner with 360 points to rent. The owner may also have to do a day by day to be sure to get it. OKW has the most grandvillas and that is a slower time also.

BTW I think CRO would cost you several thousand dollars for this, I would at least try to rent the points.

But if you are willing to part with $3600 for just renting points, why not purchase your own DVC and use that as the downpayment?
