Chances of last minute wait list

Okay, I have been planning our trip for over a year, We are staying 2 nights at the Swan 2/19 & 2/20, then checking in to SSR 2/21 - 2/24 then jumping on the Wonder for 2/24 - 2/27 (just added that 2 weeks ago). Sunday (2/20)we will be at the Daytona 500. DH just decided that it is stupid to go back to the Swan after the race, why not just go direct to SSR??? DUH, I mentioned that to him ages ago but he thought it would be easier to just come back from the race and not have to deal with checkin! We are now waitlisted for 2/20 at SSR, and 2/20-2/24 at VWL, BWV & BCV, (all 1 bedroom) do any of you that have traveled during Presdents week think any of these waitlists will come through?

my bet is no problem becuase i hear some rooms are coming open around 2/15............

Last I heard, the next building opening at SSR was scheduled for the last week of March.

What happened to me last week was my waitlist expired at the 7 day mark. I called two times a day to see if anything opened up with no luck. On the day before I checked in, I was told to call 7:00 AM the next morning to the front desk and see if anything opened up. Someone made a 'mental note' of my reservation and called me as soon as something did open up. I was very grateful they did this for us as it meant we only had to move one time during our stay.

But, ours was for MLK weekend. I would hope it wouldn't be that crowded for your dates and it won't have to come to this.
