Chances of Getting at 7 month window?

We are planning our next vacation for the end of August, 2013. Our home resort is BLT, so we will book 8 nights there at the 11 month window. We are interested though at the 7 month window of switching our reservation to 4 nights at BLT and 4 nights at another resort. Here is our preference in order:

AKL Kidani 1 Bedroom Savannah View
BCV - 1 bedroom
SSR - 1 bedroom

What are the odds of these being available for us at the 7 month window in late August 2013? Thanks.

My guess for late in August should be good. Now if you were looking at the first week of December, you might get SSR one bedroom, but the others might not happen.

We got a two bedroom at the end of August for BCV two years ago - which would be the most difficult of those resorts to get. By the end of August about half the country is back to school, Disney frees up quite a bit and availability tends to be pretty good.

You should be in good shape for the end of August. 1 bedrooms are almost always the last to be booked and Kidani is a big resort. Enjoy your trip!

We booked 5 nights in BLT standard and 5 nights BCV for end of August 2012. 7 month window. we had to waitlist for the standard view so I booked the Lake view. the standard view came in about a month later!

I checked that time at 7 months out for this year including for what you will be seeking. The only thing you could not get at 7 months out was AKL concierge and BLT standard view. Most things actually stayed open for a few weeks beyond the 7 month window. It appears the last two weeks of Aug and all of Sep except the last few days is probably the lowest DVC demand time of the year.

Like others have replied, I think you should be fine. This year will be our third time travelling during that same period. At 7 months we have been able to secure rooms at AKV and BCV. We also own at BLT, and make reservations at 11 months with the intention of trying to do a split stay so that we are at a different resort for the last 4 days of our trip. This makes us feel like we are starting a second vacation before heading home. Good luck.

I agree, you should be able to select your resort at 7 months in August. Studios might be starting to fill, but my experience is the 1 bds last a bit longer.

We decided last month to take a trip in mid August-we called and got a 1BR Savannah view-in fact, the only night not available at that time was August 23. So, I think you'll be ok-the schools in the south are all back in session, so I think that makes a difference as well.
