Chances of getting a BWV Standard View 7 mo out for Sept?

I wondered how hard it would be to get a Standard View 1 BR at Boardwalk for September 2006? My home resort is OKW so I can only book 7 months out...is it worth a shot?

For September in a 1BR you would have a chance, especially if you are flexible with your dates. Are you thinking of September of 2006?

Yes, 9/2006. My DH won't let us go back until then (unless I can convince him!) because we had 2 Disney trips in 8 months and he is burned out! I guess I can always try it and waitlist at BWV after I have made my OKW reservation.

Thats the way to do it but you may not have to waitlist at all for September. Good luck talking him into going sooner.

I would say yes. We booked BWV std. studio at 7 month mark for June!!!! Originally booked SSR, our home resort and called at 7 month mark. Got all, but the first day we wanted, so we waitlisted that and it came through in no time. Then just about 3 weeks ago I called to see if we could add one more day to the end and we got that no problem, no waitlist.

We even found BWV studio availablility for October and the F&W festival at just 3 weeks out last year, so I suspect September will be easy.

I wouldn't expect a problem. I got a standard view reservation at 7 months for Sept this year.

Mt brother and SIL got a SV studio for the BW for Aug 28-Sept 3 of this year at 7 months, so I would say you have an okay chance.

We booked a 1 BR SV last Sept in as little as 4 weeks out.

Of course, keep in mind that Ivan, Jeane and all their other "windy" friends were keeping most people away at that time.

Timing is everything.

Not September, not 7 months, but I got a terrific standard view 1 br at 6 months for APRIL. We asked for a dedicated, non-smoking 1 br and got 3121 with a huge balcony and even a view of Epcot fireworks. It was a loooooong walk from the elevators (yes, I thought of Richyams) but just down the stairway to a path to the BW parking lot!

Sept is one of our regular trip months. In the last 10 years I believe we only had a problem with a standard view once and had to take a prefered.
