We are trying to get a reservation at ohana but all dinnertimes are booked out for the week. what r the chances of cancellations as we get closer? are there any walkins for table service dinign or only by reservation?

It's a good chance something will come up. With the night before cancellation policy and fee, lots of people cancel the day before. We went last year and extended our stay a few days, so had no ADRs. We got Chef Mickey's and Ohana's at normal dinnertime hour the day before we wanted it. :thumbsup2

They do take walk-ins, but it's best to go 30 minutes before they open, ask at the podium and then you will have to wait if they can do it. We've only been turned away from walking in a few times, but all those were 6 and after. I really suggest going in at 4:30 and getting your name in. Good Luck!:goodvibes

thanks so much. that makes me feel so much better. i'll just keep my fingers crossed. i cna't find numbers to call to check and make cancellations.

Were you asking for the number to call Disney dining in your last post?

if so here goes- 1-407-WDW-DINE

Good luck!

I've always had good luck with 'Ohana in the last few weeks before check in. Of course I check TONS of times each day, but it pays off. :thumbsup2 Good luck:goodvibes

I'm cancelling O'hana's for 8/11 @ 5:15 in a few minutes if that helps. Not quite sure when you are going. I was able to get all the times I needed in the past few days, and we are leaving in 5 days. So don't give up hope.

I have been looking for an Ohana dinner for months and finally got one this afternoon, even though it wasn't there this morning so just keep checking! Also, most months have a cancelled ADR thread on this board so if you subscribe to it, you can sometimes coordinate cancellations with other members.

Just cancelled a ressie for 5 at 'Ohana because we rescheduled our trip for September to Christmas:

Sunday, 9/16 - 'Ohana - 5:20 pm

Keep trying!!

I had been trying for an 8/22 8:05 at Crystal Palace EVERY DAY, 3X/DAY, for 6 MONTHS. Today, lo and behold, I tried at 2:30 nada, tried again at 3pm on a whim, and there it was, I thought I was dreaming. So the morale of the story is keep trying....I never had anything before 8:30am for months, and my dream time just popped up out of nowhere. I feel like I just won the lottery! I hope the same for you...:wizard:

When I scored a Le Cellier ressie, I thought the same thing! It was shocking to actually see what I wanted ACTUALLY show up. It was a little unnerving!:goodvibes

I was able to get one at Ohana over spring break week at about 3 weeks out (reserved it online). Now of course it was for 9:10 so it was late. But it worked out perfectly for us as we eat late a lot anyway. We had all day to play and we were seated during Wishes which we could see from our table and they piped the music in. It was awesome! Try looking for something later in the evening...

Last September I had the same problem. I kept searching and searching for an Ohana opening. I finally got one around 7:30. The closer you get to your dates the more people cancel. So just keep checking and checking, and checking :rotfl:

I agree, they usually have them after 9:00 if you want to eat that late. Right now Im going in October and they have an opening every night about 9:30. But we dont want to eat that late.
