Chances of Being Let Back in MK After Breakfast on 12/24

A few nights ago I noticed openings for breakfast on 12/24 at Chef Mickeys and reserved. Wish I had booked Crystal Palace when my ADR's opened up but never thought of it. We have never gone at Christmas and am wondering if I should cancel my 10:30 a.m. reservation due to the chance of MK closing to capacity and not being let back in. I want to be sure that we will be in the park for our 5:15 p.m. BOG reservation. Any thoughts? We are staying at CSR, so we would not be turned away to the final closure process.

I'm not sure the dining reservations board is the best place to ask this question. You're asking what the likelihood is that the Magic Kingdom will reach a State 4 Capacity closure on Christmas Eve.

Looking back over the past few years, the Magic Kingdom has only hit Stage 2 on Christmas Eve, and reopened to all guests by early afternoon.

I was told by others on the board that the park could reach stage 4 closure by 1030 on that day, therefore it would be in my best interest to try to either: 1) get an earlier Chef Mickey's reservation or 2) cancel and go somewhere else.

I was lucky to get a Crystal Palace invite and canceled my 8am Chef Mickey's for that very reason. I've been checking off and on this week and there are a LOT of time changes for the reservations popping up randomly. Keep watching the cancellation thread and browse the reservations periodically, especially the week-of.
