Chances of Aulani 2BR for XMas Week at 7 Months?

Would love to book a trip to Aulani for 12/24 - 12/31 for the 5 of us but home resort is SSR and Availability Tool is already showing some categories sold out at just over 9 months out. What are the chances any 2BR will still be available at 7 months? Airfare from New England is over $5k, so we don't really want to take that chance. Any ideas or options would be appreciated.

I think you've got a decent shot. I used SSR points to book a dedicated 2br ocean view right at the 7-month window for our Spring Break (just a couple weeks away now!). I checked last week and it was still showing some 2br ocean view availability for our week which includes Easter Sunday so maybe not max capacity like your week but pretty darn full. Meanwhile, all the studios and other cheaper point units are long gone but some higher point units are still around. Anyway, I recommend logging on right at the 7-month, 8am window, and if you're really nervous you could try walking the reservation if availability is looking sketchy.
