So I was lucky enough to get a table for 5 at Ohana for dinner:goodvibes . However, now my dad who lives down in FLorida will be joining us for a few days and would to have him join us for dinner as well. What do you all think my chances would be to add just him to our party? I would hate to not have our dinner there due to one person :confused3

It's easier to go from odd to even, so you should totally try. You will be at a 6 top anyway. The would only say no if they were booked to capacity because of fire codes.

You can always call and ask too. I recently had 2 friends agree to go join me on my birthday trip, and the CM at the dining line was able to add them to all of my ADRs a almost the exact time with no problem, didn't even change any of the reservation numbers (except one)

We added one to our party of 5 for Akershus and it wasn't a problem. I called the reservation line and the CM was able to add the 6th person even though I couldn't get a reservation for 6 online. I've also heard of people just adding the extra person when they show up, but I like to be sure so I would call and give it a shot:)

Keep calling the dining line. It likely will become a game of CM roullette. Shockingly, I once was able to go from 4 to 5 at Ohana once about 4 or 5 years ago, but I think you need to get the right CM on the line. It's is annoying you can't amend reservations online and instead have to cancel and make a completely new reservation.

I absolutely agree with you that they should try. But, it's worth noting that I have eaten at 'Ohana 2x as a group of 5. One time we were at a 4 top with a chair stuck on the end and the other time at a round table that sat 5. There did not appear to be room for another chair.
