My son was a Cp participant last year in Character Ent. and loved the program. He was very ill for about 6 weeks though and called in for a few shifts etc. When he returned home the family doc ran some tests and is sure he had Mono but was mis-diagnosed at the clinic in Fl. His bosses loved him and were flexible, though he amassed some points never made any moves to get rid of him or anything like that. He has been told a PI is almost out of the question as he will be eliminated without a chance to explain with his points. Has anyone gotten back for a second CP though with issues like this? Do they even look that stuff up in the initial stages of interviewing? Any suggestions?

Thanks
D

Generally 3 points in 30 days (or 6 points in 60 or 9 points in 90 days) = 1 Reprimand. and with CP it is 3 reprimands and you are out.

I have always been told 1 reprimand on a previous program will not necessarily mean you are automatically disqualified from the program. It all depends on what your rehire status is. Some people who are applying for PI had a restricted rehire status and were asked to submit documentation that they had been employed with their current employer for 6 months or more. So there are ways around it.

I have also seen people get accepted who had many attendance reprimands and points, to another program, so it is possible.

Your son needs to call recruiting and find out what his re-hire status is.
