any chance this new 4 star diamond hotel at the Disneyland resort will have any DVC sales?
How many units are there at VGC now? 125 is not that many, but better than nothing if true.
LAX
HAHA! I have been "white knuckling" my keyboard for two days trying so hard not to respond to the reference. I'm not sure why it grinds, but it's awful!Columbia?
(Please don't use 'Cali' as shorthand for California. Google it, if you must. Thanks for understanding.)
LL Cool J is from New York. He didn't know any better. You should probably take up your gripe regarding Cali with LL Cool J. (Thanks a lot LL!)
btw NO one says Cal unless you're referring to UC Berkeley but Cal is ok too!
I must miss it but maybe I’ll start noticing it more now. The best part is that it’s ALL Good!! : ) As long as you call it the best state in the union. (Thats in jest people)Down here in So Cal we say Cal all the time!![]()
You may have it in your name. You may use it as reference for yourself ... but please, don't use it in a spoken or written communications to refer to California? Thank you, most kindly. My name must give you guys nightmares then. We'll have to agree to disagree. I'm from California and still a part time resident. There are no rules about abbreviated state names. I'm sorry this irritates you but there are bigger fish to fry in the world. We all love DIsney which is a California, Cali, SoCal original (btw NO one says Cal unless you're referring to UC Berkeley but Cal is ok too!).
Since it’s not a slur or an expletive, I will continue to use it at leisure. I have no idea why it grinds your gears so hard but to try to ban it from the vernacular is a bit out of proportion. But continue to try by all means and I’ll continue to defend those who do. Californians for California- whatever you call it.You may have it in your name. You may use it as reference for yourself ... but please, don't use it in a spoken or written communications to refer to California? Thank you, most kindly.

This is being addressed because a few have been admonishing folks who have used Cali in several threads recently that it must never be done. It’s time to live and let live. We all have our annoyances but if it’s not actually an epithet and merely personal preference some tolerance could be practiced. Now, onward!I think the intention with this thread got derailed a bit.
Let’s get back on track - shall we.
I have found this thread to be chalk full of useful information: https://www.disboards.com/threads/new-hotel-at-disneyland.3643170/
Probably what allowed this one to get so off the rails.
I am hoping for more DVC rooms, in either hotel. The exchange rates to hotel rooms are so cost prohibitive, and I would like to be able to use DVC points for a trip to Disneyland sometime in the future, so this will be a development that I will be eagerly watching.
One bad sign so far is that no mention of DVC rooms has been brought up at all. You would think they would say at least "some rooms will be reserved for vacation club members" in order to draw up excitement for DVC ownership in general, especially with two resorts not sold out and a third one on the way. We will just have to wait and see I guess.
