Chance of April AP Rate for WL or AKL?

I'm hoping AP rates for April/Easter/Spring Break will be out soon. I currently have a reservation for WL and hope a AP rate will be availbale for that resort. My concern is that as of today the only rooms AKL has are pool view which is not what I wanted, I wanted standard room only. So, should I stay with WL and hopefully a AP rate will come out for it or do I have a better chance of AP rates for AKL, in which I would have to change reservation now before AKL pool view rooms are gone as well?

Sorry, but you should've checked the history of APs. There were no APs for the week before and week after Easter last year and most holidays are historically blacked out. Your chances are not good. The next round of AP discounts should be released in the next couple of weeks and most likely will be from April 14 to June 3 (just my guess as a AP holders since 1995). Let's hope I'm wrong--just trying to give you a glimmer of hope here. But you should be ready to prepare yourself that it's not going to happen.

I remember staying at Contemporary one year (2004) and had an AP rate, I thought this might be the case again

Anyone else remember any AP rates for Easter/Spring break

I don't want to pay so much $$$ for a one week stay at WL, when we'll be back in July for 10 nights.

We were at WDW in 2005 at Easter (was in March then) and had an AP discount at Yacht Club.

So don't give up hope.

I'm hoping for an AP discount for that period as we plan to arrive 6/2 and hopefully arrival that date that will be covered with the next AP rate release. Based on past releases, will be looking at the end of Feb for that April-First of June period.
