Chamilia beads

I have not added up the cost of that first bracelet. I'm worried that I might be scared to wear it if I knew for sure.

That's what bothers me about these bracelets. Sure, $30 for a bead doesn't sound like much, and $150 is fine for an occasional splurge, but all of a sudden you've spent a few hundred bucks, or even a thousand, and all you have is one costume jewelry bracelet!

ETA... and yet I keep looking at them because they're so pretty!

It's not $135 but it might be soon as it's retired. If you check the Chamilia site it's not listed there anymore. I found this one with a google search:

That wasn't the one I was refering to sorry. It is the crystal Mickey head on the second braclet.

The one that is a dangle Mickey, on the red bracelet is a retired bead.

The blue Mickey with the crystals is a brand new bead. It was only released a few weeks ago. Just in time for my birthday. It is $135 retail.

None of the beads are exclusive to Disney world. You can get them anywhere that Chamilia is sold.

I think there is a pink one out also. I'm getting one or the other when my tax return gets here. LOL

I wear mine everyday and its got all sterling silver and SS w/gold charms on it so I don't consider it costume. I would rather spend hundreds on something I wear everyday instead of spending that on a piece of fine jewelry that I only wear on occasion, but I'm not much of a "fine" jewelry girl anyway.
Just go out and get yourself one, you know you really want to

Sorry, I mis-typed. I don't mean Disney World specifically. I don't believe that there are any Disney beads that are exclusive to Disney property. All the Disney beads are avaliable where ever Chamilia is sold. You may need to get your jeweler to order them for you, if they don't have them in stock.

Also, Chamilia retires beads periodically, so some of the Disney beads are no longer available. On my bracelet, the Mickey dangle, Dopey's head, and Sebastian the Crab are all retired now. Some of my glass beads are retired now too.

I personally have not purchased any of my beads on Disney property, so I do not know about sales. I would think that you could use the Disney Visa discount, at least. Also, they do those 20% off coupons on the back of CS receipts that you could use.

I had 3 20% off coupons that I received at the CS meals during our xmas 2010 trip. I of course used those to buy additional chamilia disney beads at World of Disney.

As for sales, I haven't seen any online, but my local store does sales. They have an e-mail list.

I love your bracelets, you really have a talent for putting them together. I love the pixie dust looking bead, can you tell me what it is called? Thanks.
