Chamber of Secrets - Two Thumbs Up! (No Spoilers)

Saw the sneak preview of Harry Potter: The Chamber of Secrets yesterday. Excellent, amazing, incredible, better than the first one (if possible)! Go see it!

I'm trying to re-read book 2 before we go to the movie. I need to refresh my memory

I just finished re-reading the book....and I'm glad I did because I had forgotten some things. It's much scarier than book 1 so I'm wondering if the movie will be too.

We have tickets for Friday evening.

Ooo, I can't wait!!! We have our tickets for Friday afternoon at 3:30. We'll pick the kids up from school and head straight to the theatre.

Funny story - I told my 7 year old he could invite a friend. He calls his friend on the phone and speaks to his dad because his friend wasn't home. The dad asks to speak to me, and says, "That sounds like a lot of fun. Can I come too?" LOL! The dad is good friends with my dh and is his assistant soccer coach and we do stuff with them all the time, so it didn't bother me that he invited himself. I was just rather amused that my son called to invite his son and he ended up being the one most excited about it. LOL!

Midnight Thurs/Fri for us. Kevin doesn't have school on Friday so this is his reward for a good report card!!!

Friday is a minimum day at school, so I am going to try to go to the first show of the day. If not, Friday afternoon with my sister.

Friday is my DD's 17th birthday. I bought tickets last week for the 6:30 show. We're taking her and about 6 of her friends. I got the book on CD and finished listening to it last week. I'm afraid I could be creeped out by the spiders, since a little one in my kitchen made me jump this morning!
