Who else remembers this show being in the reports? Disney was going to make a TV Show where Mickey Mouse would be CGI, but I know that after this announcement so many people got mad, and there were already people saying the CGI Mickey from the WDL commercial looked ugly. Now today I cant find any news articles on it anymore, was it cancelled?

I don't know about a tv series with a CGI Mickey, but I remember people were unhappy with his new CGI look in the Christmas DVD that came out last year ( can't think of the name of it ).

I thought the new look was fine and don't understand why people can't accept anything other then the current version. Mickey has changed his look several times over the years, even during Walts life.

You're welcome. You're also correct that change always seems to upset some people. Now, change isn't always good but it also isn't always bad.

Heck, if nothing ever changed we would have Mortimer Mouse (no Mickey) in black and white. Heck, Disneyland itself was a change from the status quo.

yea, during commercial on the disney channel they showed mickey making the 3 ear logo on the lower corner like they do with most ppl on the shows, then he just dissapeared

In the latest TV guide in the Parents' Guide section they are reviewing kid's tv shows coming soon and one of them is "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse". It says coming to Playhouse Disney, March 2006. "Here's a splashy new CGI home for Mickey Mouse and friends. Whether it's identifying shapes or counting to 10, preschoolers will have a good time learning with these classic characters." They have a picture of the CGI Mickey on the page too!

If I recall correctly, it was "Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas".

My DD2-1/2 had no problem with CGI Mickey in this DVD! I had no problems, either....it kept her entertained from November through February, when we had to play it at least once a day. :teeth:

All bow to CGI Mickey! :worship:
