Is the sushi a single serving or mostly for 2 to share? Hubby isn't into it and the prices look like the are sized to share.

Our reservations are at 8pm on a night when fireworks scheduled for 9pm. Will we have a long wait? Is there anything to entertain kids while we wait? I assume they can't be in bar area (6 & 7). Sometimes Disney has things to play with but CG seems too upscale for that.

I thought it would be a special treat for arrival night but I'm having second thoughts about kids at CG and dining later than they are use to.

The sushi is usually for one although they will work with you to create what you want in our experience. But for you, the single serving sounds like it will work best.

I don't know how long your wait would be. They do have crayons for the kids to color on the butcher paper. But I don't think they have anything to keep them occupied until you're seated.

Frankly, I hear you about keeping them up later than they are used to. I would hate to have to stay up when I'm tired and then try to be good AND enjoy myself. Perhaps you could do it another night??

When we were there in march, two of us split an order of california rolls as an apitizer, and it was more than enough. No kids for us, so I can't be much help with that.

After checking in at the reception desk, you are taken up to the CG. The lounge area is just outside the elevators and children are more than welcome. As it is an open area, the kids will not feel out of place.
