Central PA

Just started with this site, and noticed an old thread about a Cental PA DVC meet. I obviously missed it, and have just joined DVC. I was wondering where DVC owners live in the Central, PA area, and if other meets like this might occur in the future. My wife and I live in Hershey.

Hi SamS!

We had a lovely time getting together on July 13th! There are no plans at the moment for another Central PA meet but I'd be interested in an October or November meet. There were some people who couldn't make the July meet for various reasons and also seemed interested.

I might suggest a meeting at Chocolate World in Hershey to see the new 3D show and decide if we think it's up to Disney standards. We could get a bunch of tables together afterwards and chat while we sip those great Chocolate World milkshakes!!

By the way, my hubby and I, along with our 2 teenagers, live in Elizabethtown - right down the road from you.

Oh ....a meet at Chocolate World sounds like a wonderful idea! There is also the Hot Air Balloon Festival in mid-October.

........if there is a plan for another meet, could it be on a Sunday......



Anyway, we are about an hour away from you SamS. We are in the tiny town of Selinsgrove.

I'll be in Sunbury the weekend of the 12th and 13th....not too much of a problem to get to Hershey from there (though with the construction in Harrisburg...might not be as simple as it once was!)

We lived in Lancaster in 98-99 and moved to Maryland. We loved Lancaster and have been transferred back. We are building our dream house two houses down from our old house.

We settle Wednesday and are VERY excited!

DH and I live on the West Shore of Harrisburg (ENOLA) and hosted the Central PA DVC Meet in July. We had a blast and would love to see everyone again (along with some new faces). So count me in (as long as its not the weekend I am in Disney!!! (Oct 16-19)) I think meeting at Chocolate WOrld is a fantastic idea!
