Which ones do you have and what do you get with it?

I had to turn mine back into my h's work. They were letting me use it until then needed it, and they need it now.

So, I need to get myself one. I'll letting my dd keep the one I used to have.

I just got a new phone through Verizon Wireless.
I have a national plan which allows me to call anywhere in the country and use my phone anywhere in the country. I have 500 anytime minutes and 4000 nights (after 9:00) and weekends.

I like my ATT phone with regional (4 state) long distance calling. I have to pay long distance fees for outside the 4 state area, but it isn't that often that I need it for that. I find I have more comprehensive coverage with my ATT phone than DH does with his Nextel.

On my dd's phone it's a verizon, the phone I had to turn in was a Nextel.

I have Verizon, have 400 any time minutes and 4000 nights and weekends after 9 during the week. I love my service. I even took my phone to DW and never once used a pay phone to call back home, I used my cell phone, called right from the parks, the room, resturants....even when my plane was delayed for 2 hrs. called everyone I know from the plane on the runway....something that chances are I will never do again. :bounce:

Our phones are from CenturyTel. Last December I re-upped with them for 2 years, getting "30 minutes free" on each phone. DH recently changed his policy, up to 200 minutes, but I kept mine the same. Mine is $9.99 per month, his is $24.99. I did have a problem with my phone though, it was an older-style analog that must have been 4 years old. It quit working. Thought it was the battery so bought a new one, still wouldn't work. They said since I was "in contract" I would have to pay $120 for a new phone. If I was "out of contract" I could get one for $30!! Ridiculous!! Called "customer service" to politely complain but still got nowhere. Went to the kiosk at Wal-Mart to see if they could do anything for me, and the best she could do was sell me a used phone (5 days) for $20 so I grudgingly went with that. It just ticked me off that this is how they treat their "in contract" customers. I think when our contract expires a year from December, we'll be looking into Verizon instead...or maybe there will be something else offered by then....who knows!

We bought DD a ATT Prepaid cell phone with refill cards at Best Buy this summer. She likes it and there are no contracts!.

Herc.

I don't use mine much but i have US Cellular plan with 120 minutes (total) for $25.00. I have NEVER used more then 60 mins in a single month.

I also have a prepaid cell phone from Tracfone. I barely use it, just if I have an emergency or if I'm running late, etc. It works great and I dont get a monthly bill:D
