I got a crazy low rate here for a quick solo trip on 7/5. Through hotwire - $30 a night. No lie. Anyone stayed there - I want the good, the bad and the ugly. I don't plan on being in the room much AT ALL. Don't want anything disgusting but just need basic sleep and shower.

Personally, I've never stayed at this property - sorry can't be of help. But wow! That rate is incredible so I'd love to hear the opinions of people who have stayed there!

Never seen any reviews for there.
It's not an area I will stay in so I can't help you.
But I'll give you a bump so maybe someone can help.

thanks. It was a Hotwire deal where you don't know the hotel name until you book.

It is not a bad hotel and for a cheap rate like that it is great. I stayed there for a similar price through priceline. The hotel was clean and the rooms are large. It is in a good location with restaurants all around as well as a full grocery store nearby. But this was 2010 when I stayed there so a lot can change in 8 years. If your not going to be in the room much and are not very picky then I am sure it will still be fine.

I just looked it up on TripAdvisor. It gets good reviews (4 out of 5 stars). You might want to go to the site and read a few. I always like to read the most recent reviews since they give a true picture of what recent visitors are reporting. I also like to look at the Traveler Photos (as opposed to the ones provided by the hotel). They show the good and the bad, rather than those perfect, sanitized photos on hotel sites. The rooms look basic, but rather large. You should have plenty of space for a solo trip.

We've stayed there a couple of times but it was many years ago. It is an old property but I can't comment on current condition or how well it has been maintained. I can tell you that the suites were huge, like bigger than my first 2 apartments. They don't build them like that anymore.

There are numerous touristy shopping and dining options nearby, plenty in walking distance which is nice. The area gets pretty crowded on weekend nights typically because of Old Town so be prepared for that. Otherwise, for $30/night, I'm sure it will be just fine.

thanks - I did read the reviews as well - most are good. I'm just a tad nervous because I hardly ever, ever stay off-site. I'm getting really excited.

I think you’ll be fine but I would caution you that just in case this experience isn’t all that you hoped, don’t write off staying offsite again. There are endless options from bare bones to luxury resorts and everything in between.

definitely won't write it off - with the prices as high as they are now on-site, and the parking, and the perks of Disney Springs hotels, it's looking more and more attractive to me.

Just note that offsite options have a HUGE HUGE range. From luxury resorts to wonderful homes to meh townhomes to condos to hotels to motels. And neighborhoods change as fast as you turn a corner. I agree with @disneysteve.

    Have a great trip!

We love renting homes, either condos, town houses, or pool homes. We just booked the other day for November at a 3-BR condo for $102/night.

Yes those kind of rates are hard to argue with. I've had a 1 bedroom condo in Wyndham Bonnet Creek a couple of times for around $50-60. And two bedrooms for under $100. That is practically on property.

I'm looking at Sheraton Vistana Resort for September. I can get for $60 a night (with taxes/fees) vs my reservation at POP for $127 per night plus taxes. Less than half for a one bedroom/kitchen/laundry and great pools.

That $102 is the grand total with all taxes and fees. I think the actual rate is $78 or so.

That awesome. We've never stayed there but I always hear good things about it. Where did you get that rate?

    I always book via SkyAuction.

Never paid more than about $87 per night for WBC 2 bedroom and less than $50 for the 1 bedroom.
SVR I usually get 2 bedroom for about $65-70 a night and this time it is for a 1 bedroom. It really varies by season and each year has climbed somewhat - right now WBC wants $100 a night for 1 bedroom. Certainly a great value but if I can stay at SVR for $280 less for the week, since just DS1 and I, that is a lot of meals out. We are park centric so our resort time is rest/sleep or a swim. We don't do the activities if just us.

Hi everyone - OP here. I thought I would give you a review of Celebration Suites - I am back from my first solo trip. Observations: 1) I don't like the Old town area - kind of "questionable" but close to the Disney property and nothing really bad happened...just not a safe feeling. I don't think I'll stay in that section again. 2) Celebration Suites is old and run down but I got a renovated room and it was very simple and plain, but very very clean. Full kitchen. Sleeps 6-8 people. It's a good value for those on a budget. I got it soooo cheap on Hotwire so I can't complain. Would I stay there again, no, probably not. Even with the $30 hotwire rate, maybe. Again, very clean, nice staff, but that area just isn't my thing.

I stayed Sunday night too but I had booked a different hotel because Celebration Suites wasn't available for that rate. I booked Courtyard by Marriott on Vineland Rd in Lake Buena Vista - $69. - with tax and fees $87. It was fantastic - definitely would stay there again. Very very convenient, clean, and the pool looked amazing. Didn't have time to do anything there but I checked it out. A very nice alternative to onsite.

Thanks for the follow up. That's pretty much what I anticipated. The whole 192 corridor east of I-4 is kind of sketchy except for Celebration. The nicer area is west of 192.
