Celebration at the Top - Sip, Savor, Sparkle

We did Celebration at the Top In February after it restarted after being closed for several months. The private room is small with about 10 -12 tables of various sizes--we had a table for 2. The service is excellent--very attentive & friendly. We don't drink alcohol so the bartender made us a number of different NA drinks; we liked the ones that weren't too sweet. The buffet of food was also excellent, all appetizers but more than enough to make a meal. We thought the food was a bit too eclectic in that all the different small plates were so different, somehow all the tastes didn't go together very well. The desserts were a bit limited.

You have access to the two outside long balconies to watch the fireworks with a very nice view. We have seen MK fireworks very many times so because the night we were there was chilly & damp, we watched the fireworks from inside & still had a great view with the music piped in.

Is it worth the $$$? Depends on your budget. Nice to have a calm upscale way to see the fireworks without the crowds. The food is all-you-can eat & it is an open bar (alcohol & non). We won't go back again any time soon but would choose it over the California Grill for the dedicated service & variety of food / drinks.

Went there on or around Independence Day last year. They made a mocktail for my tea totaling friend that she enjoyed so much she tried unsuccessfully to have other Disney eateries copy; I was fine with the alcoholic libations presented 🙂. Many menu favorites presented as appetizers: pork belly sliders, goat cheese tartlets, various sushi, grilled seafood canapés, etc as well as desserts. Amazing firework views from our table that didn’t require our going outside. Felt we received value for the money spent and they even allowed us a doggy bag which came in handy for breakfast the next day.

I could see myself returning again.

Thank you both!

As soon as my ADR date pops I will try to snag one.

I really hope you can get the ADR. DD and I tried for 3 trips and were delighted when the third time was the charm. We absolutely loved the food. Having that eclectic mix is just our style. The bartenders were lovely and we watched them amaze and delight our fellow guest. As the designated driver, I had one drink at the start and switched to sparkling water. DD doesn’t drive at night. If I was to do it again, I would arrange for ride share. We had a clear viewing night, but I wasn’t over-impressed with the view, honestly. Also, we did not get much warning that the fireworks were going to start. Being a short person, in a wheelchair, my viewing ended up pretty obstructed. Overall, we did love the experience.

It's still not available for my date, but I don't think I was going to do it anyway. I am on a GLP-1 and all of that food would be a waste. I know it's about the atmosphere, but anything with a price-fixed menu is a waste of money right now. (We are going to The Boathouse instead.) I haven't been to DS since it was Downtown Disney. :O
