What have you done for yourself today that got you closer to your goal of leading a healthier lifestyle?!

I really didn't feel like exercising this morning but I did it anyway and feel so much better (now that its over!) And I'm about half way there on my water for the day!

Come on and brag a little!

Way to go, Liz!!!!! Starting is always the hardest part, isn't it?

Well I went to my Weight Watchers meeting this morning and LOST 3.8 LBS !!!!!!!!!! Wooohoooooo!!!!!!:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc
I was so motivated, I went and worked out at Curves right after!

Who is next? C'mon, don't be shy!

Ate a big breakfast (non program style):( BUT I intent to have DS and DH carry the treadmill out of storage for me -- and watch out come MONDAY!;)

Jody, your breakfast sounds yummy!!! Good for you getting out the treadmill!!!

Who's next?!

Great Success Cathy!!! :sunny:

I have been doing housework in as Calorie Burning fashion as I can!!

A healthy Atkins breakfast started it off....and soon I am going to take a very fast-paced walk!!

:)

Well, so far I've just been watching nasty snow falling outside my window.

Time for me to go hit that elliptical trainer now.

Yeah Cathy!!!!!

My family and I DH, DS, and DD just got back from our mall walking. We did about 3 miles, though at a pretty leisurly pace. The kids thought we were going a bit too fast for them.
It felt pretty good, then DH's blood sugar got pretty low, so we went for a bite to eat. Sandwiches from the new Italian deli by the mall. I had a roasted veggie w/fresh mozzerella. Yummy. We did a little sin, though; chocolate cheesecake! OMG! It was the best I've ever tasted! She was making them right there in front of us. She swears it was the recipe from Mama Leone's. I don't care where it came from. I had about 2 TBS. of the yummy stuff, so I don't feel bad about it. (We all shared one piece.)

I feel good about it, and am glad to be hearing alll of your success stories! Keeps me motivated. So, what about tomorrow?

Keep the Faith!

Tracy

I decided that I was going to try to make myself stay on points today!! I only do a so-so job usually and weekends kill me. SO I decided that I would stay on points and try to journal (which I am really bad about) and drink all my water. So far so good!!!

OK.......

Time for some bragging that had me scared to death to attempt..........for fear of failing, and sabotaging the great mental momentum I have fallen into.

But.............

Here goes............

I was just able to put on a pair of jeans that have been tormenting me for over a year by not even coming CLOSE to fitting!!!

:p

Granted, they are a bit tight........but heretofore, they would have caused me to lose permanent feeling below my waist from lack of circulation!!!

LMAO!

:bounce:

I haven't snacked at all today, although I have been sorely tempted to.

And DH and I are going out tonight to try TGI Fridays new 2 eat for $20 menu. Guess what I decided to eat without even batting an eye - chicken ceasar salad. normally I would be going for steak & loaded mashed potatoes

Looking good everyone! And John, LMAO!!!!!! There is a lady in my WW group who has lost 119 lbs and has hit a plateau, but when she fit into a pair of jeans that she hadn't been able to wear in 6 years, she was thrilled!!!!

Jen, I find that if I have some protein in the morning, it helps with the afternoon snack cravings. That is the hardest thing for me. Thank God for Caramel Corn rice cakes! ;)

Keep up the good work everyone!
Cathy

I still don't know what my weight loss is, so I can't comment on that. But, something new I'm doing is drinking ONLY spring water or hot tea. I've cut out diet soda all together now!

I've been doing great staying within my points range. I've also been eating breakfast every day, and lunch, whereas before, I'd often skip both meals then be starving and feeling lousy by dinner time!

I'm still waiting for DH to dust off the treadmill.....

Kudos to everyone for doing such a great job! And special congratulations to CC and John! :) :) :)

I was planning to let today be a non-exercise day, but Ross and I drove to EPCOT and walked around the World Showcase (before the rain blew in!) Do you know what? They no longer serve iced cappuccino at the Fountainview Cafe. :( I am wicked sad! ;) Really, I am a bit bummed, because that was my favorite drink, but oh well.

We went to Gaylord Palms after to just look around as Ross had never been there before. He got a cup of Ben and Jerry's ice cream and I had a tiny bite, but that's all.

So, I got in some unplanned walking and have stuck to my healthy eating schedule today. Right now I'm cooking chicken breasts and baked potatoes for dinner, which is part of my plan. I keep reminding myself that "nothing tastes as good as thin feels" and it's working.

OH! I didn't think any of my shorts fit, but I was wrong! :) I'm wearing a pair now. They are supposed to be my "loose" shorts, and they aren't, but I certainly don't look like the sausage I thought I was! ;)

Wishing everyone a fabulous Saturday night. Keep up the great work!!!

I'm so proud of everyone!!! (And a little jealous of TigH for getting to walk around Epcot today!!!)

:D :D :D :D

Way to go CC!! Only 3 1/2 Pounds to go until that 5 Pound Clipart ;)

Great Job everyone :)

I had a terrible day :( I just need to forget about it and get back on the program.

We have been successful, haven't we? Here in this house, the 11 year old was having a (hormonal?) meltdown, so we went out-yep in the freezing rain/wet snow-for a walk. And, because of her state of mind, it wasn't at stroll! :o And I avoided the cake and ice cream at the birthdays yesterday, although I had allowed and counted 2 of Mom's peanut butter cookies. Ah, well.

Bravo everyone!. Although, I'm jealous of the trip to Epcot, TigH!
