Oh, they must've been thrilled!!  Its always so much fun to receive a gift... especially a Disney gift!

Tracy and Bill are such sweethearts! :lovestruc

Amy, you're really knocking things off that to-do list... you GO, girl!!

Kathy

impressive work on the list! I need to check mine, I think you are WAYYY ahead of me.

That was SO sweet of Tracy and those pins are adorable! Red puffles were Kendall's favorite too. Even though she's outgrown them, there is still one on her soccer bag. :thumbsup2

New glasses too, I am jealous!

Hi Amy! Thanks for checking out my PTR! I had a chance to catch up on your report this evening. You have a beautiful family! I love all the photos you posted from years past! It's so nice to see how Disney has changed in some ways, and stayed the same in others.
I can't wait to read more. Your lists are really helping remind me of things I need to get a move on.

(*Side Note- I'm a Patriots fan too!! :goodvibes Once they were out I completely supported my hometown team (The Saints). But before that I was of course rooting for the Pats!! My co-workers actually trashed my office and hung signs all over the place the day the Saints and Patriots played Monday Night Football. (All in good fun of course) And then because I lost a bet I had to wear Saints shirts for the rest of the week. :sad2: But it was destiny... so what are ya gonna do?

First of all...YAY!!:yay: for being under 4 weeks now!!!:dance3:

What a nice surprise for the boys and what wonderful thing to do!!!:goodvibes My boys would be so jealous seeing all those puffles!!;)

Breaking down my list into 6 weeks has helped me stay ahead of things. You should see the corner of my bedroom though... :scared1:

Not too many of Zach's kindergarten classmates play Club Penguin, but apparently he has them all playing some sort of puffle game at recess - they all run around saying "oooo, oooo, oooo". :confused3

I'll post a picture of the glasses eventually... :rolleyes1

Tim is from CT so he has always been a Yankees fan - that's not changing, but living in NH he has definitely become a big Pats fan! That's a funny story about the Saints/Pats rivalry you were stuck in the middle of!

Tracy and Bill are the best aren't they:thumbsup2

::yes::

What a wonderful gift from Tracy and Bill. :goodvibes

:banana: I love that my ticker says 3 weeks, 6 days today.

It's all puffles all the time here... Although Zach has discovered Moshi Monsters - do your boys know about that one?

Updated park & entertainment schedules have been posted for our week:

SpectroMagic has been added on our MK night!! I’m so excited about this because we were originally going on a Spectro night but had to change it way back when DMIL decided to join us. It’s a little strange because Wishes is still scheduled at 9, but they have Spectro added at 10. Seems backwards to me, but I think I remember that happening one night last year too. Spectro is now showing every night we are there (twice one night), except Fri & Sat when they are closing early for Grad Nights. So we may see Spectro after all!!

DHS has some extended hours & added second showings on all Fantasmic nights. Our DHS night was supposed to close at 8:30 with a single showing of F! but now they are open until 10:00, which is when the second showing is scheduled. That just gives us more flexibility.

AK is now open until 6pm every night – originally there were a couple 5pm closings mixed in. Doesn’t really change anything for us.

I hope these changes aren’t a sign of big crowds… our week is supposed to be pretty quiet since it will be three full weeks after Easter. I'm anxious to see what Tour Guide Mike thinks... he'll be updating his least crowded parks charts sometime soon.

I hope that isn't a predictor of crowd levels either! The park hours for my trip came out and MK is open until 1am one night and 11 a couple others. DHS is even open until 11 one night and EPCOT is open until midnight. I'm hoping this doesn't mean it is going to be busy! It is October, so kids should be in school but it is the first week of F&W.

Certainly not Easter crowds but it is a sign of increased bookings at the Disney Resorts and any other data that they collect. I can't think of any other reason for Disney to spend more money on labor unless they think more people are coming.

Hmmm... I wonder why they would be open so late in October? :confused3 And usually they start with the hours being shorter, then lengthen them as needed.

I know... :headache: Oh well... I'm not going to worry about it. I've planned our week to avoid the crowds no matter how big they are.

You have your hopper built in and can always take an extra break if needed back at the resort...or if you don't want to go that far...I'd sneak over to the beach at GF, Poly or CR and just chill there...if you are not using the pools I'd think it would be OK to escape for an hour or too...convienent for the MK/CM day or if need a break while at Epcot just use monorail....JAT

it's always a mixed blessing w/ the added entertainment and hours....I wouldn't worry too much...not like your going over Thanksgiving break like some people...Oh that would be me ;)

I just checked in to your report - looks like you will be there as we are finishing up our trip. What a nice family. I just skimmed your report - I love the links! Sweet family!

They have that Wishes at 9 and Spectro at 10 on my MK night - I hope it really is that way since I chose that night for Wishes since it was earlier. Do you think it is a mistake? I am worried all the new spectros (almost every night I am there except grad night) means that crowds will be brutal. Oh well!

Wow, you got a lot knocked off of your to-do list. :thumbsup2 What nice gifts your boys received. Hopefully the hours don't mean much larger crowds. I love TGM's advice!!

Thanks for this post Amy!!! I need to go through and start planning more now! I hadn't yet decided night time show nights and such but now I can and it seems I have much more to choose from!! Glad there are more Spectro shows too!!!

:woohoo: for adding SpectoMagic!!! Hope you get to see it!!:goodvibes

Seeing that they added an extra showing of Fantasmic prompted me to check our week also and YAY! They added another showing on the night we are going!! I was hoping they would do this so we would have a little extra time in the park!!;)

All these changes work in your favor! :thumbsup2

Second showings of parades and shows means that you will only be dealing with half the crowds you would have on a single showing night!

Disney always does this before Jersey Week, too, and the last two Jersey Weeks were comfortable crowd-wise.

I think you'll be fine... of course TGM advice always helps! :goodvibes

Great news! I'm so jealous....waiting to see about show times STILL for DCA...It makes me crazy how late they release hours for CA.
