Happy Monday everyone!! Today is one month until our vacation begins!!

Today wasn't planned as a vacation shopping day, but don't you find you do the best shopping when you aren't planning on it...

Today I got a chance to catch up with my friend & neighbor, Laura. She's been really busy with work for the last couple of months so it's been a while since we had a morning to go to Starbucks. Today was finally the day. But there was more... Laura had a couple things to return at the mall & at Marshall's. First stop after Starbucks, Marshall's... where I found these:

These probably won't be Disney park sandals, but they'll definitely be coming to Florida. Maybe they'll be my date night &/or Boma/AKL sandals?

Then it was off to the mall. I saw some cute capris at Ann Taylor Loft but didn't buy any. I need to really look at what I have tucked away before I buy any new spring pants. After a couple more quick stops, we decided to check out the Veras. I started checking out the backpacks... apparently the one I tried on last time was the "large backpack" and I didn't realize it. It's definitely bigger than the regular "backpack" that I tried on today. I was checking myself out in the mirror when the Vera lady came up to me and asked if it was for vacation. I told her yes and she asked me if it was for Disney. I said yes & she told me she's been the Vera lady at the Hallmark store for years now so she can tell what people are shopping for! I tried it on, took it off, tried it on, took it off, checked out soft glasses cases, checked out what patterns were on sale on the website (via my iphone), went back to the backpack and came home with these:

And to top it off, my friend's 20% your entire purchase coupon was good on Veras too!! So I got the $88 bag and the $10 zip wallet for $78!!

Love the sandals! You're right - wouldn't want to walk around WDW all day in them, but they're super cute and perfect for your dinner out.

It will be a bit of an experiment with the glasses situation. I figure I have to take the bag off my back when we go inside to get on rides anyways so hopefully it won't be too much of a hassle...

I love Marshall's - I just don't get there often enough. I'm more of a go-to-the-store-with-a-specific-item-in-mind kind of shopper than a browser. Marshall's isn't always the right fit for that.

I was so happy to get the 20% off. I was on the Vera site (on my phone) while we were in the store. The sale patterns were $60 and I didn't love any of them (plus I'd have to pay shipping) but with the 20% off I got the backpack for $70 in a pattern I like!
