First, let me say, I am relatively new here! This is my first pre trip report, so bear with me if you will. : )
Me and my favorite villain ever.
The characters of the show:
Me (31 year old stay at home mom, seamstress, and full time student), DH Matt (33 year old Telecom Analyst), DS Nicholas (Herein referred to as the Birthday Boy), DD Olivia (7 year old princess in the making and crazy thrill seeking girl), and DD Harper (the craziest two and a half year old on the planet who is scared to death of characters even still).
How we got to the plan:
Our original plan was to go in November and check out the Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party. We were on countdown and everything was progressing... Slowly, but progressing. I had bought shirts, decorations for the windows, and even Christmas Disney gift cards. The party was a selfish request on my part; I loved the MNSSHP so much this past year!
Well.... We got on the subject of birthdays at Disney. The Birthday boy would be celebrating the big 10 in September and is starting to grow up a little too fast... So over dinner and ice cream this past weekend, I proposed the idea that we go to Disney for his birthday instead. The birthday boy is waaaay into Stitch and so we used a breakfast at Ohana to sweeten the deal. We decided to check out what ADRs were available and what hotels were available before making a final change... Because we were right around 180 days, we were able to see which ADRs we wanted and once we checked off the list of restaurants we didnt want to miss (hello, Le Cellier anyone?), we started booking ADRs and emailed our favorite TA.
Sunday night we got the confirmation email. The Caribbean Beach, well see you on September 22, 2012! Pirate rooms, here we come. And shhh... the pirate room is a secret. The birthday boy needs some surprises!

He is absolutely going to love it! (I think I might have pictures of it around here somewhere... Maybe in my old TR... I will have to take a look..) We are traveling back to Disney in September too- so excited!!
