Just so Im understanding, you found the patches on ebay? How did you put your name on there. Sorry for asking so many questions but that is a super cute idea. Also much cheaper than Disney shirts.

Thank you!!! I'm so excited to wear them, lol, and I love that everyone in the group is excited about them as well!

So yes, I bought the patches off ebay from a wonderful ebay seller "sassysewing227". She makes the patches herself, and also can personalize them with your name...so I just told her what characters and names we wanted, and she stitched up each of the patches!
Then we just bought the shirts and sewed on the patches ourselves (okay, okay, MOM sewed on the patches, haha!), very simple and very reasonably priced. The patches were about $5 each and the shirts were $10.

Ariel is my favorite character. Ive tried desperately to find a shirt for an Adult with her picture on it. Impossible. Dont really understand why

Its our 1 year anniversary so I was debating on doing the Keys to the Kingdom Tour. You'll have to report back and let me know how it is.

Feel free to borrow our shirt idea! I like Ariel too - in general I've always liked Belle the best because I'm a bookworm just like her, but Ariel is close behind because we're both redheads!

Neat that you've taken the Autotrain before! Do you have any tips? Advice about anything it was helpful to bring? I'd appreciate any advice! Packing will be one of the next things to tackle...

we literally rode the Autotrain about 25-30 years ago so I really don't remember too much but I did have fun.

My friend used it a few years ago. I know her issue was that it was late-I don't know how common that is but I know she was frustrated by the time it took her to get there. Conversely I have another set of friends who are DVC owners and they always take the Autotrain down and love it!

I am writing my pre-trip along with friends who are going down at the same time. I know they have talked about the Autotrain before so you may want to pop on over and see what they say.

The autotrain being late is my biggest fear! As difficult and tiring it is to do the drive down from here to Florida, one of the best parts for me is that I feel totally in control. As long as we plan well and leave early enough, I can make sure we get in at the time I want to arrive. With the train, I hate leaving my fate in someone else's hands! I HOPE it does not arrive late!

So excited! This week sometime we'll all start packing, I've already put a packing list together. Other than that, we're basically ready!

These next 2 weeks are going to fly by! I like thinking of it in even shorter periods...
...14 full days
...13 days until we get on the train
...12 days until my parents arrive in town
...10 days of work

Thanks so much! My parents have always been a wonderful role model of a very amazing married couple!

LOL about the red haired kids...people started telling us that from the moment we began dating! Yes though, we definitely plan to have kids, and I'm thrilled that they will be beautiful little redheads

This weekend I need to start packing, my parents are ahead of the game on that one, my mom has almost all her stuff together already! My best friend and I are going to get pedicures on Saturday, so my toes will look all pretty for our trip

Just completed my online check-in, that was nice and simple.

I was laughing when you said you needed to get a pedicure. Mine are absolutely gnarly. I make due with them on Sundays at church but its so embarressing. Im set to get some kind of Disney picture on my toes but I have no idea what to do.

All back from my pedicure, and my toes look all nice and pretty now Nice relaxing time with my best friend, much needed. I've seen some really cute pictures of pedicures with red base coat and then white Minnie polka dots and a white tip like a french manicure. Looks pretty adorable. I didn't do that though, haha.

Oh my gosh I'm officially fully at single digits today!! Just 9 days until our first day in the park, and only 8 days until the vacation starts with our train trip. Sweet!!

Yes we're very excited here! Both my husband and mom have both been very overwhelmed with work lately, and this vacation is coming at a great time.

LOL about packing...I plan on starting tonight!! I can get some of my stuff together, then finish up the rest later this week.

Down to 8 days until WDW, and only 7 until we leave!!

Just popping in to say - - I'm down to 6 days!

A little "shook up", we just had an 5.9 earthquake over here, it was centered about 90 miles or so south of us. Shook my office building pretty good. Husband will be headed home soon to see if there's any damage there, a few people near us have had things fall off walls/shelves/etc. Thankfully though myself and everyone I know seems to be just fine. What a weird thing to experience...lived my whole life on the East Coast, and I've experienced 2 earthquakes now!

Tonight is my husband's last night off before our trip, so hopefully he'll get most of his packing done today.

4 days until my parents arrive!
