Your like us hardly any pictures of just the two of us - I plan to change that in 3 days too.

Can hardly believe it's in 3 days - hopefully my ears clear out before then. I am only able to hear muffled sounds. DH says something to me and I have to go right up next to him to and ask what he said I even asked him if the tv volume was on earlier

I did get everything packed and am ready to go except for my personal care items (makeup, brush, comb, etc). Am charging camera batteries as I type.

3 days to go - yeaaaaaaah

No, shirts. Sorry.

I'm jealous you are packed already. I still have laundry to do. Yuck.

Packed yesterday since both DH and I were home together. We both work the next three days (1/2 a day on Wednesday). I will probably work late tonight since my classroom observation is tomorrow. Co-teacher and I want to make sure everything is ready.

DH will probably work late tonight because the owner of the store is coming today with Christmas trees.

Tomorrow afternoon I will be babysitting DGS and DGS after school and will then finish up cleaning house.

Looks like we are going to have good weather for the 2 hour drive to the airport on Wednesday - no snow.


Ears are still plugged - could barely hear the alarm clock go off this morning - would not have been good if I had slept through it and was late to work.

Could be an interesting day with kids since I can barely hear.

Didn't get any Christmas decorations up since I was so sick over the weekend. Now I will wait until we get back.

Looks as though you will be very busy the next few days.

I'm thinking the clogged ears are a good thing when you have to watch the Grandkids. I know you would still be able to hear my kids, they are sooooo loud. I'm sure the neighbors enjoy it also.

My Christmas decorations are all up! Whoo hoo! My parents, kids, and DH all helped with the tree. What a help! Seriously.


2 DAYS!


There is snow in the forecast on Wednesday. I'm not sure if it's AM or PM. It has been raining/sleeting/snowing and very windy for almost 24 hours now and many cancelled and delayed flights. I am going to say a little prayer for my flight on Wednesday.

Well got through class ok. Had a hard time hearing what the kids said to me. Ears are starting to get a little clearer though and am hoping that I will be able to hear better tomorrow since we are being observed.

I can't believe that it is getting closer to when we leave.

OhanaMama do you leave early in the am - hope the weather holds for you. After your post I had to go over and look at the weather forecast for Sunday since we have a layover in Chicago. So far looks like Sunday we will ok. for us.

I am thinking of changing our plan and doing MK all day on 12/4 and then DHS and AK on 12/6 due to the parade taping. Not sure how crowded it will be at MK on 12/6.

Our flight leaves at 8am on Wednesday. They are predicting 1 to 4 inches on Wednesday. I am still praying!!!!! We should be fine on Sunday.

We are avoiding the parade taping all together. We'll see how it goes. If our flight is delayed that means less time in MK on Wednesday. So our plans might change a little. I hear Saturdays are pretty busy at MK.

I got the laundry finished, I just need to pack. I always have good intentions of packing before the night before but it never seems to work out.

Have a safe trip if I don't talk to you tomorrow.

Have a great trip and a safe one - who knows maybe we will run into each other. I will have a LGMH hanging from my purse with my dis name on it.

One more day to get through and then it will be leaving day. Looks like the weather is turning nice and we might get some 70's. So I guess I will keep the capris packed.

OH and sorry about the bears lost. DH was so sad all night. he has been a bears fan since he was a little.
One year he wore his bears shirt to a phiollies game,a nd the beer guy said look folks we have someone from Chicago in the house. I was like no he was born and raised here in Pa.

I know it's chilly in FL (insert soft violin music here) BUT it is much better than Chicago! That's for sure.

The Bears What can I say? You have to take the good with the bad around these parts. That's pretty funny that your DH is such a Bears fan and he's not even from around here. He enjoys being tortured?

We leave in 7 hours to the airport. Will be in Florida at 6:20 in the morning. So ready to go.

Both DH and I are going to work for a 1/2 day before leaving. Weather looks great and I just might wear those capris after all.

Will write a trip report when we get back.
