Celebrating 20 years of marriage with Disney Dining! COMPLETE 3/26

You should try to get to Whispering Canyon Cafe with your daughter. My husband and I took our family and friends there in December for our rehearsal dinner and it was so much fun! They didn't play a lot of the tricks on us, but what they did was really enjoyable. But watching all the kids around the restaurant that night and on our honeymoon (we stayed at the Wilderness Lodge) you could tell they were having a blast! We had the skillet, and the food was really good! I didn't have high expectations, but it was very well cooked comfort food.

Thanks for the positive comments about Whispering Canyon. It sounds like fun and good food. I'm still one the fence about keeping this one though. We are planning to stay at the WL for our 2013 trip so it might be easiest to wait and eat there then. I'm just not sure if I'm patient enough to wait until then.

Yay! I'm so happy you're going back soon. I hope you get to do another dining review - I've had the time recently to catch up on your reviews, and I really enjoyed them. :)

We are thrilled to get to be heading back too and I do plan to do another review. Thanks for reading. I'm a fan of your reviews as well.:thumbsup2

Really enjoyed your reviews hope you do another one.

Enjoy your trip in April :goodvibes

Thanks so much.:goodvibes

Great dining review and yay! we will all get to enjoy another one real soon :)

Thanks for your kind words. Looking forward to doing the next review for sure.:thumbsup2

Just read your whole review and it was fantastic! :thumbsup2 DH and I are going to be using TiW for the first time on our Oct. trip. We've done DDP twice, but I think we could get by on a lot less food, and I also don't want to feel like I have to use up a certain amount of credits. I love how you split most of your meals! Good to know that it is pretty easy to do that, especially at the signatures.

Definitely try Flying Fish on your next trip! It was one of our favorites on our last trip. A bit noisy, but the food and service were top notch!

Thank you for all of the great reviews! I love the adult side to Disney...I'm hoping a kid-free trip one day!

We absolutely love using the TIW card. We've used the DDP several times too before we became AP holders and I felt like I was wasting a lot of food. Also, when we've used the TIW card we've had no issues splitting meals at any restaurant which I really like to do so that I will have room for an appetizer or a dessert.

This was our second trip without the kids. One was a spur of the moment one a couple of years ago when I found a good internet deal. But this one I had been planning for a long time since it was our anniversary. I enjoy going with the kids and without them. It is a different experience without the kids for sure. We went back to our room and took a nap almost everyday. The kids would never have allowed that.:rotfl: We also ate several late, lengthy meals at the Signature restaurants which would have been trying for my daughter. But I can't wait to go back to Disney with her, but our plans will be more centered around what she likes to do.

I've been blessed to experience Disney trips with our extended family, with trips just for DH, DS, DD, and myself, and trips with just DS and me. It is a fun time no matter who is there.
