I have decided to do a Dining review for this trip. I always say I'm going to and start one after we get back, and then flake on it. SO I figured starting early will hold me to it.
My DH and I celebrated our 15th anniversary in January. We originally scheduled our trip for the week of our anniversary, but we had some scheduling conflicts (which tends to happen with 7 kids :) ), so we rescheduled it for the first week in March. We are so used to being held to a schedule, and not being very spontaneous, because having as many kids as we do, doesn't really allow for that, so we booked our trip with the QS dining plan (free thanks to a pin) and we figured we would schedule a couple of TS meals that we knew we would want, plus a few more when we got there. We don't mind places that are usually walk ups, we just want to relax and go with it. This IS our very first trip since our honeymoon with just the two of us :cool1:

Cast of characters:

First off, Here is Hubby and I and all the little nuggets we are leaving behind for a week:

This is me :) I am 34 and will eat literally anything besides raw onions. I love to try new things! My favorite foods are any seafood, mushrooms, and dole whip floats ;) My absolute favorite Disney character is the Beast with Belle as a close second.

This is DH, who will from here on in be referred to as Goofy. He is 35, and will also try and eat anything. you'd be hard pressed to see him eating salad though. FOr some reason he just doesn't eat it. He says he likes it ok, but I never see him eat it. LOL. His favorite foods are bacon, meat, and bacon. His favorite Disney character is Fozzie Bear. He is a bit of a Muppets Junkie.

These are our current ADR's:

Ohana (x2, I booked it twice because I wasn't sure what night would work best but Goofy thinks we are keeping both)
Be Our Guest (I NEED to see the Beast and his castle of course)
Trails end for breakfast (Goofy has an unhealthy relationship with the pulled pork eggs benedict, I knew we could get a walk up, but I figured I'd book it since we knew we were already going)
ETA: Cape May Cafe for dinner

We are looking forward to trying other TS meals, and have really no expectations of where we will end up. All of these will be OOP since we have the QS plan only.

Our current list of places that we will most likely eat at for QS are:

WPE
Tangierine cafe
Everything POP
AOA food court
BOG
(hoping for a FP+ for this one!)
Boardwalk bakery
Yorkshire Fish shop
Katsura Grill
Yak and Yeti local food cafe's
Flame tree BBQ
Columbia Harbor House
Starring Rolls

We will have 32 counter service credits to use up, so I'm sure there will be more, but this is what we know we will be using. Plus all those Yummy snacks! You can be sure that we will be getting at the least a Jalapeno cheese pretzel, numerous dole whips, ham and cheese croissants, and Karamel Kuche galore!

STAY TUNED FOR THE ACTUAL REVIEWS!!!

Wow, 7 kids!! You truly do deserve a break :rotfl: Sounds like you have a nice, relaxing week planned. Enjoy your food and I look forward to reading your reviews when you return :)

Have a great trip! Just a suggestion...you might want to add Sleepy Hollow in MK, one of our favorite QS. Enjoy!

The waffle sandwiches ARE in fact on my list! Yum!

After reading 2 great reviews on Cape May Cafe for dinner, I decided to go ahead and book it since we will be in Disney for 2 meatless days (Ash Wednesday and the first Friday during lent).
Please tell me that was a good choice ;)
Oh! And also, We had forgotten that goofy won Universal tickets back when they had the fear factor show in US. He participated in it and won 2, 2 day park to park tickets. Since it's just the 2 of us, we figured this trip was as good of a time as any to visit Springfield and Hogsmeade! So there will be a little US food thrown in here :)
