I did a few searches and discovered that most people think that sitting near the IASW party zone is the least crowded so I think we will do that. However is there any way to know ahead of time which direction the parade goes? We are going to the evening parade. - Also do you think that one hour ahead of time is long enough during peak season to still get a front row seat? THANKS!!

The 1st parade always starts @ IASW & ends @ MS, so the 2nd one (evening) starts @ MS & ends @ IASW. & I think getting there an hour early is fine. :thumbsup2

Is this the same street party that plays at WDW? We saw it last year and I can't imagine waiting an hour to see it. It just wasn't that great. There were maybe 5 or 6 floats, if that. Maybe the DL version is enhanced since it is the only parade at DL. At MK in WDW, it was one of three parades every day and it played several times every day so maybe they lengthened it for DL? :confused3

We saw the afternoon parade today. The park is at peak attenedence. We perched in the IASW area 30 min prior to the parade, sent one of our party off for snacks, and had no problems viewing, dancing, and enjoying. I even got a hug from Tigger - because I bounce!! :)

Thank you so much for the feedback - I tend to line up REALLY early for stuff because I like being right on the curb or up front - good to know that a half hour should be sufficient for that area.
