I am trying to book my CP leg of my trip, and while I could stay at Breakers, I really dont have the need to leave midway through the day and dont like the idea of sleeping in a 100yr old hotel.

I have found great rates on Holiday Holidome...but get mixed reviews...Anyone here provide any insight?

I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Holidome before and found it to be really nice. It's been a few years since I was there but I believe we've actually stayed there 2 or 3 times. The rooms were clean and just a typical "room" but I definitely would stay there again and can't really think of anything bad to say about it.

Have you looked at maybe staying at the Breakers Express? We've stayed there a lot of times and it seems that most people like it or hate it but we've always had a good stay there and the price is right, too.

Holidome is a big NO for me. It is pretty old and is not kept up to my standards. There is a Ramada Inn right across the street from the Holiday Inn. There are lots of brand new hotels in the area.
Just a few years ago, they did a HUGE renovation of the Breakers Hotel. They added new rooms and updated the old rooms. It's not really a 100 year old hotel. It's VERY nice.
We stayed at the South Shore Inn once and it was pretty nice. Small, but nice. 1-800-860-4436 is their number.
There's also a relatively new Hampton Inn at Rt. 2 & 250. That's 5 miles from CP. 419-609-9000.
Good luck, and have fun at The Point!!!
