CD's for 8 yrs olds

Hi,
I got my twins a Princess CD player for Christmas.. NOw I have to purchase CD"s for them.. I"m really out of the loop on music..

Anyone have any suggestions?

<font color=navy>You could try the cds that feature songs from Radio Disney - they have some good ones. Also, Target has a decent selection of songs for the younger group.

My DD is 7 and big into music. She didn't want any toys for Christmas, just a stereo and CD's. She asked for Hillary Duff, the soundtrack to Lizzie Mcguire (also Hillary Duff), and the Soundtrack for Freaky Friday. Brother Bear is another one I was going to get for her. She also loves any of the Kids Bop CD's.

8 yr old DD got the same 2 Hillary Duff CD's mentioned by figment95 and also the Kidzbop. She wants Freaky Friday CD with her money.

My DS's really like the Radio DIsney CDs. They also like Aaron Carter, BaHa Men, SmashMouth, Jump 5, and assorted Disney soundtracks.

We got ds (6) a cd player and cds. He has kid bops and a disney cd.

Our DD8 likes kid bop, lizzy maguire, radio disney, lilo & stitch sound track. She also likes oldies has Diana Ross & Supremes greatest hits.

For SSB's who was 8, bought the two mentioned HD's, Avril, and Michelle Branch (the only one that I was bit concerned about, but seemed ok) ???

DD loves Hilary Duff, Beatles, the Bangles, Springsteen (we've brainwashed her on that one!)

DS7 likes Avril Lavigne, NSYNC, Rugrats Go Wild and anything Kidz Bop, especially the first one.

Try movie soundtracks! DS8 has a bunch, but the one that immediately comes to mind is the soundtrack from "Shrek"....that one we hear over and over and over and over..............
