Just back from a 48 hour work trip and had a chance to jump on Soarin and Spaceship Earth. I had no idea that they had changed this ride (SE) and I don't want to spoil it but you MUST put this back on the list of rides to do at EPCOT. I laughed my head off!!

The best is at the end so be patient.....watch the cavemen and the painter on the ceiling....and then enjoy the ride down! LOL....

I agree.

There was another part that blew me away with the image...

Definitely a must do... at least once.

I just got off it about an hour ago. We really liked it. My kids wanted to go right back on! We also saw the new Canada movie for the first time and really enjoyed it! We had a great day with hardly any waits!

:goodvibes How cool!! Enjoy the magic for us!!!! :wizard:
ETA: We liked the new Canada movie too. The Canadian Idol from a couple of years ago, Eva Avila sings the theme song and it's one of the reasons I bought the cd set, 4 Parks One World.

For Spaceship Earth...just make sure you press English as soon as you sit down. We didn't hit it fast enough or our finger slipped or something but our entire ride was in Japanese. Let's just say that at the end....we were just pressing buttons everywhere. LOL

We rode it again before we left Florida. ROFL

I actually wanted to ride it again just to get a different ending - my family was not as interested!

We rode it this past May and it was really neat! A very nice change I might add!:thumbsup2

We are going in March of '09 and I am completely excited about checking out the Spaceship Earth! What age is appropriate for this ride? I have a little one that is 3.5 and was wondering if this is a ride for her or not.

at 3.5 a child might be a bit bored as it moves slow with talking - no music. But the animatronics are cool - people, horses, etc, so it might hold their interest. Certainly not fast or scary - I held my newborn on it.

I just got back on Oct. 12th and I was really impressed with spaceship earth. It was hot hot hot out and it was a nice break from the tropic weather. The cute surprise activity at the end really was a hit with my whole group. We ranged from ages 3 and a bit to 36 years old.

My 3 year old was well entertained on this ride and though dark at some points wasn't afraid at all with Daddies arm around him.

Another plus to this ride is it is generally a fast loading ride and therefore very rarely a long wait from my experiance.

Put it on your must do list canucky dis'ers:thumbsup2
