is this true about being responsible for losses related to flights etc.? I am debating whether I should rent out my points, and am apprehensive to rent them out myself, as I am new to DVC, and was hoping to rent through David's.
We recently rented some through David's and were pleased. I actually just listed a second reservation with them a few days ago. I felt more comfortable going through a broker but you do definitely pay for the service ($4.50 a point). I was not worried about being on the hook for things like renter's flights or other costs. My interpretation was the Force Majeure clause in the contract would offer you as the person renting your points some degree of protection provided you were not at fault (e.g., you kept your dues up to date).
