We leave for Europe in two days!! :rotfl:Our last leg of our trip will be Paris. We are staying at the Thomas Cook Explorer's Hotel. We will be flying into the Charles De Gaulle airport.

How would we get to the hotel from the airport? There will be 5 of us and we will have quite a few bags... (2 adults, 3 kids - all able to manage our own luggage)

Also, we will spend 2 days travelling into the city of Paris, as well as 2 days at DLP. Does anyone have any clear directions on how we should go to Paris from our hotel? Also, are there any transportation passes we should consider for those 2 days? If so, where would be purchase them?

Thank you! I'm so excited about this trip, but the transportation is making me very nervous!! :scared:

The best way to get to the hotel from CDG is a private shuttle. Most people on here use ezyshuttle. It costs €70 each way. Your other options are the VEA bus or the TGV train. Both would cost you a similar amount and would only take you as far as the train station (you'd then have to catch the shuttle bus to your hotel).

Getting to Paris is very easy. You just need to get the shuttle bus that takes you to the parks. This drops you off at the train station. In the station head to the RER section of the station. Any train from the RER station will take you into central Paris. If you get off at Charles De Gaulle Etoile you will be on the Champs Elyssee.

The best ticket option for the Paris trip is probably the Mobilis 1-5. They cost around €14 for adults (50% off for children) and you get a full days travel for that on the RER (regional train), Metro and the RATP Buses in zones 1-5. Most of the major sites are in zone 1 and Disney is zone 5.
