We plan on arriving at CDG airport at 7 in the morning then going to the Palace of Versailles for the day. That evening we will go to our hotel which will be either a Disney or Disney Partner hotel. There are 4 of us and we are looking for suggestions on the best way to travel. Will we have to go to Disneyland Paris to drop off our luggage or is there someplace to store our luggage so that we could drop it off and retrieve it later in Paris? We are on a two week trip so our bags are too large to store at the Palace of Versailles luggage hold.

I think it would be easiest and save back tracking to go from the airport to Gare du Nord with the RER B. There I would store the bags in the station storage facility.

Then take the RER B again from GdN and change at St Michel onto the RER C line which goes out to Versailles

Coming back fom Versailles change at St Michel back onto the RER B and go stops back to GdN where you can pick up your bags

From there you can catch the B one stop down to Chatelet Les Halles and just change platform onto the RER A line Just check that it is going to Marne La Vallée - Chessy (Parc Disneyland) as the train splits off at one point

Hth :)

I'm not sure where you are flying in from, but if it is from the U.S. you might want to rethink your plans. Versailles is huge, especially if you are planning to go through the gardens, the two Trianons and the Queen's hamlet on top of the palace. It is an exhausting day by itself and would be more so if you had an overnight flight and then need to travel out to DLP at the end of the day. Can you spend a night or two in Paris?

Thank you Carrie_Cat. You are so helpful to so many people.

Piccolopat, we are flying in from the states and we are limited on time and so we decided to see the palace and some of the gardens. We will not make it to the Trianons or the Queens's hamlet. We will be spending 2 nights in Paris after Disney, but those days are already full. We arrive early in the day and we are trying to use that day to see what we can of Versailles.
