We are off to DLP on 8 June 2007 and taking my Father in Law abroad for the first time (trying to get him to WDW!)

Can anyone remember the cost of the train ticket from CDG into DLP? From memory I think it was around €20 but not sure.

Also, we end up having to queue for tickets for around an hour - can you prebook or obtain them another way then waiting in line???

Just hope soft openings for Crushs Coaster - fingers crossed!!

Thanks

Claire

I book my tickets directly from the site; then go into the ticket office and show the credit card used to book to receive your ticket

www.sncf.fr

Cost varies by time of day and how busy the train is

Might it be easier for you to get the VEA shuttle bus to the Resort? It goes directly to each Resort hotel from Arrivals at the airport, and costs 16 Euros (13 for children).

Here's the info.

I did that once, I was very happy with the bus!

Interesting, I thought the only options were RER and the bus. :)

TGV takes 10 minutes. If you land at T-2, or can navigate your luggage onto the bus to T-2, it is a good way to go.

Wow! That is great to know. I have not used the TGV, and I hadn't realized it went from CDG to DLP. That is very quick.

you strike me as the type of traveller who could do the T-2 connection very easily.

And nothing can top the surreal view of Space Mountain rising out of the French countryside, as the train zooms towards DLRP!

I love this surreal view too and we always use the TGV because nothing is faster.
The VEA is very cheap but it can take very long if the first (or second) stop of the bus is not the hotel you have booked. But a nice side effect is: You can see many of the Disney hotels. ;)

I'm not sure about easily - but while CDG isn't the easiest (to me) airport to get around, I did figure out the T-1, T-2, T-3 without much pain!

I tried the direct link, and I also tried checking CDG to Marne La Valle (there are 3 or 4 different Marne La Valles to choose, I think I had the wrong one). I'll try again! I think that would be very cool, I have wanted to try a TGV - even if it is only 12 minutes. :)
