Cd signing tips

I have never been to a cd signing before and was planning on attending one next week. It is at Barnes and Noble in NYC.
I was wondering if anyone has ever went to a cd signing there and can spare a few tips. Like if they got wristbands, how early you got there, if your allowed to take a picture with the artist, and anything else you can think of.

It depends on who it's for. Sometimes they are lined up early AM- others not so much. If you are going to the Josh Grobin one I would say earlier the better.
Same thing on wristbands- book signings I've been to they have those. But I've never been to a cd signing although I would guess it runs the same way?
If there's a big line I would guess that they wouldn't allow pictures.

Tips- be friendly. A smile goes a long way in line. Good luck and have fun.
