Which studio would you choose for a no-kids trip for 6 days in Sept around AK MM? RIV or CCV? Or split stay? Probably no parks aside from AK MM (maybe one day at water park). Have never stayed at either. Can’t decide. Thanks for any input.

Just to clarify: Is it a couple, or two couples who are friends?

Because if it is just 2 people, I'd go with CCV just because I like it more, but if you have to pull out the couch RIV by a landslide.

Just myself and my husband. Thanks!

I’d choose RIV. It’s nice to have access to other resorts easily. Walk over to have a drink or something to eat at CBR. Take the Skyliner to thr boardwalk area at night…

RIV is the place to go. I feel it’s very chic. Close to two parks and many other resorts.
Bar Riva and Primo Piatto are excellent.
Plus the Skyliner!

If access to more restaurants and adult entertainment are your preference, then RIV - though be forewarned that the Skyliner closes one hour after Epcot closes, which likely means in September around 10pm. If you’re still over at Boardwalk at that time, you’ll need to take a Lyft/Uber, or bus to DS and back to RIV.

Personally, I’d choose CCV, but I absolutely love the Wilderness Lodge. Grand Floridian, Contemporary, and Polynesian are easy enough to get to if I desire more restaurant choices, but I love Geyser’s Point for a quiet dinner together, the Territory Lounge is a great little bar, and the atmosphere and solitude of the Wilderness Lodge is perfect for a couples getaway.

But admittedly I like Wilderness Lodge theming over Riviera, so it really depends on what your cup of tea is.

I like both, but would pick CCV as its fewer points.
I really like the design, grounds and LOVE the restaurants at Riviera, but the points are WAY too high, so we refuse to stay there.
We just stayed at CCV in a 1 BR and loved it, except for needing to take a bus to everything other than the MK.
