CCV Incentives?

Any speculation about whether there will be another round of (big) incentives for CCV? We started impracticality dreaming about staying there in December and are now wondering if we should add on there. It looks like the clearing price for resale is around $165-170, though contracts are hard to come by. My mom is now willing to consider resale but would still strongly prefer direct. I don’t know if I can stomach the $225 direct price.

Im waiting for this too! I keep asking my guide and he says he doesnt know anything yet. We have a resale contract there, but for the right price we would swap for direct.

IMO I do not think we are going to see any of the other resorts given substantial savings now that VGF is for sale.

I think they will give it time to sell along with RIV until summer time and see how things are going.

Booo! Unfortunately you are probably right. I know BLT had good incentives recently as well, which is why I was dreaming. Our DVC rep said something like “it’s almost all the way sold out so don’t count in it.” I guess that means if we decide we want them and see a good resale contract we should just get it.

I’ve been watching CCV on the resale market for the past year and there a lot more contracts for sale today than just a few months ago. My guess is some are trading in CCV to buy GF2. If you’re interested in resale, now might be a good time especially if you can get a deal from an international seller.

I think CCV will be going up in price sooner than later. OKW, SSR and AKV are at $200/point. Home resort priority at CCV is worth the extra $25/point. I am not expecting significant incentives any time soon.
