CC Hold showing up on statement?

I called the other day make ADRs and some required a CC hold. When I logged in to my credit card, I noticed that there were 6 pending payments to WDW for $1.00 each. I thought that Disney only charged you if you did not show up? Has anyone else experinced this?

I'm pretty sure they "charge" every reservation you make 1$ and then remove it later. Probably just standard practice to make sure the account is real.

You only have to be afraid if they drop you from all your reservations like they did me

Yes, I saw the same on mine.

It will stay pending for a little but will not show up on your bill. I have had this occur with other companies not just Disney.

No. The $1 charge drops off. It's just a ping to the card to make sure it's valid.
