We like to be at the parks (in this case Epcot/HS) before opening but we are o.k if we are not the first in line and/or it's not an hour in advance. 15 minutes prior to opening is o.k. for us.

Am I going to make it if we leave as soon as the skyliner opens from CBR?

How about if it's EMH at Epcot?

TIA!

Lately, DHS has been opening at 8am. Disney has been updating the schedule a couple of weeks in advance.

If DHS is still opening at 8 when you visit, Skyliner might not get you into the park before opening. If they are still using Boarding Groups for admission to ROTR, you must be inside the park, with the WDW app open and ready to go on your phone, before opening time in order to be assured of getting to ride.

So if I'm staying at CBR in July and am there at opening to go to IG, would I be ok with an 8am Bon Voyage Breakfast? Or should I move it to 8:15 or 8:30?

When things are running smoothly, travel time from Epcot IG to CBR station is about 15 minutes. It's a 6 minute walk to Trattoria. If you were able to get on a gondola right at 7:30, you'd probably make it, but I'd be more comfortable with 8:15.

I think I saw someone post that they were not allowed to board Skyliner for Epcot at 7:30 when the park opened at 9. That seems odd, since people are going to Epcot for early tours and ADR's, and the signs say the line opens at 7:30, but I wouldn't put it past Disney to cut costs by not staffing the CBR load platform & the Epcot & Riviera stations unload platforms. Unfortunately, I can't remember exactly where I saw it, and I have no specific info to contradict it.

Thanks. I'm going to back it up a little just in case. The times linked here do state that the lines all start at 7:30, but moving it later would give me wiggle room to walk from the Studios station just in case.

Do buses run "regularly" between Epcot at DHS when staying at CBR? I read somewhere if you are staying at Pop the buses for DHS and Epcot only run on the hour, before booking CBR I want to check bus schedules. Our group has more seniors and wheelchairs and using the skyliner will not be very convenient for our group. Any info would be greatly appreciated, tia

Yes, I saw that post (don't remember where on The DIS) about someone not being able to board the Skyliner at Caribbean Beach for Epcot "because it was too early." They mentioned that the line was running. The also mentioned they really wanted to get off at Riviera.

I rode Skyliner this afternoon. I asked the cm's greeting Guests outside the Epcot station whether someone could board at CBR for Epcot at 7:30. They answered, "Yes, certainly."
