We are heading to CBR soon and have a couple of questions. I didn't see the answers in the official CBR thread. I could have missed them, but nontheless, I didn't see them.

1. How big is the fridge? Can I fit a gallon of milk in it?

2. Any specific things at the food court to avoid?

3. Do they preauthorize your credit card for room charging? Can I give them cash to allow room charging privledges? I carry a debit Mastercard but no sizeable credit cards. I don't wish for them to preauth my debit card as it will hold those funds for an extended period of time.

4. If I have a problem with the MYW dining plan where do I go at CBR to have it addressed and how do I get there? (I am hoping for no problems, but have read others needed to have meals billed to their room removed and added to the dining plan due to wait staff errors.)

5. Will I need priority seating for the Shutters restaurant? (first week of March)

Thanks so much for the help!!! :) The boards are an invaluable source of information! :grouphug:

yes you can fit a gallon of milk in the fridge.

over all the food court is pretty decent. Not too bad.

Yes you can put a cash balance on your room for charging.

sorry, can not help you with the other two.

my opinion, I would get a ps for shutters being in march with spring breaks.

good luck!!

You would need to go to the guest relations desk in the custom house (where you will check-in)...if you have a car you can drive to it, you can take the internal bus shuttle to Barbados and walk across the street to it(very short distance!), or you could walk there (depending where you are that may be a long walk!).

If you want to eat during the normal dinner hours between 5-7 I would think a priority seating would not hurt...if you are thinking for a later dinner I think you will be fine.

Enjoy your stay :)

The food court at CBR is great. There is also a grab and go market with different items depending on the time of day. They have a separate check out that can come in handy.

I would recommend a PS for your dinner plans.

It's also a good idea every couple of days to get them to print out your bill so you can check for any mistakes in charges.

They only charge your card $1 to see if it is good. Not had any problems using debit card for room charges but I still check the night before we leave. They charge the debit card on the morning of your departure. You have a $1000 charging limit. When you reach that level they charge the card.

Thanks so much everyone! :)

We can't wait for our trip! I showed my dh the photos on your site Safetymom and it helped get him excited for the trip. :) The kids can't wait!

I feel like I am so unprepared this trip! We have had a stressful month, so we have not been planning as much as usual. I had double pneumonia, strep throat, 2 ear infections and acute sinusitis. He has been working 6 days a week, 14+ hours a day. Needless to say, we NEED a vacation!
