CBR question about location

I have looked at lots of pictures of the various buildings at CBR and they pretty much look the same just different colors. The quiet pools all seem about the same too. That's fine. I am just wondering is the only real consideration then where the building is located that you want?

We liked Aruba but that is the only building we have stayed at since we've only stayed at cbr once.....It was quiet and close enough to walk to the pool...But if you have little ones a closer building to the pool/food court may be better for you.......... Any other help you need don't hesitate to ask!!

I second Aruba. We loved the location. It is just as nice as Jamaica IMHO. It was usually the second bus stop for pick up and drop off. Occassional when we were there it was the first stop. Jamaica usually being the first. It is a nice walk over to the main section; and if you don't like walking you can go to the bus stop and take the internal shuttle that runs around the resort!

All the buildings are decorated the same, only the exterior color is different. It basically comes down to location.

Trinidad North and Martinique are preferred locations costing extra nightly.

Jamaica and Aruba are popular locations also.

We paid the extra for the preferred location, requested Martinique, and loved our room there. It was worth it to me to be close enough that my sons could walk to the food court and pick stuff up if they wanted, but any of the locations mentioned already by other posters would be great.

I had no trouble getting my requested location, calling a few days ahead to make sure it was still listed on my ressie, then when we checked in we got our Martinique room no problem.

Make sure you check out Safetymom's photos, and also the FAQ threads... she has a lot of great info posted on there, and it was a big help to us.
