How is the food here? We'll be staying at the CBR in a couple weeks and i haven't heard much about the food.

I've only eaten bfast there and would say it is fine. Nothing exceptional, but not bad. Like all Disney food courts, pricey for what you walk away with but lots of choices. We're never at the hotel for lunch or dinner.

We've been to the CBR two years in a row and have always enjoyed the food court.

At breakfast, you will find Mickey waffles for both kids and adults. You can get strawberries on the side. There's bacon and sausage. You can order pancakes (plain and chocolate chip) with meat on the side. The breakfast platter has eggs, hashbrowns, meat and biscuits. If you're on the dining plan, the breakfast platter comes with two drinks. At the grab-n-go section, you will find yogurt, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, fresh baked bakery items and cereal. At one of the sections (I can't remember which one), you could also order oatmeal. Of course, all of the stations have various juices and milks.

At lunch and dinner, there's a fairly large variety of foods to choose from. The grab-n-go has salads, veggies and dip, boiled eggs, yogurt and granola, fresh fruit, cakes and pies along with fresh baked bakery items.

There's a pizza and pasta station. The pizza we had was made fresh and was very good. They also have a baked ziti which I thought was great. You can order bread sticks with a marina sauce. The chicken caesar salad was made fresh while you wait. There was also a meatball sub.

At the burger station, there was the typicals burgers and chicken strips. The kids meal comes in a sand pail with shovel that they get to keep. Comes in handy on the beach.

Another station has several made to order sandwiches. My husband had the Reuben and really enjoyed it. They also had philly cheese steaks.

At dinner, the broiler section had rotissiere chicken with veggies. They also had turkey and veggies.

Drinks are at each of the stations. There's a variety of sodas, beers, wines coolers, juices, etc.

You go to each of the various stations, order what you want and then take it to one central cashier. It's so easy to do.

There are toasters and microwaves in the food court. Butter, jelly, instant tea bags, sweeteners, salt, pepper, pepper sauce, parmesan cheese, honey, syrup, etc. are all found near the drink stations.

If you want to eat in the food court, simply pay for your meal and head over to any empty table. No waiting on anyone to seat you. If you want to take your order to go, just tell the person when you order and they will give you a lid for your order. When you get to the cashier, tell them this is to go and you want a bag. The bags are large paper grocery store type bags with handles making them easy to carry.

If you want more CBR info., let me know. Lisa

Welcome to the DIS!

I don't think we ever ate breakfast at the food court, but we had many lunches and a couple of dinners and all were good. The kids especially liked getting their meals in the bucket--don't miss out on that if you have young ones. Enjoy your stay!

Its not bad...the breakfast is good, same as any other resort place. We have grabbed burgers and chicken fingers there too...again it was the same as any other CS place

My favorite things are found in the Grab - n - Go market. I love the turkey/brie/cranberry sandwich. They have lots of great stuff there for a "fresher" lunch. We love the CBR and really enjoy the food court there. Have fun!:goodvibes
