CBR Check-in

Is it really a long line to checkin at CBR? Also since it is in a seperate building how do you then get to your room? We will be using Magical Express so luggage is not an issue. What if we want to go right to a park is there a bus stop at Custom House. My 7 yr old grandson has his heart set on CBR but I can not walk alot so I am nervous.

It is hard to say if there will be a long line for check in, it depends on the time of day you check in, how many CMs are working etc.
We stayed there last May and check in was a breeze, we had 2 rooms and both were ready when we arrived (around 1:00/1:30) we were checked in and on our way to our rooms in about 20 minutes.
In order to get to your room you just have to use the internal bus, to get from the main building to your building. It was very easy.
There is a bus stop there and you can go directly to the parks, just check your carry on luggage, if you have any with luggage services and head to the park of your choice.
We found the bus service to be quite good. We used the internal bus system a few times and this worked very well too.
The resort is spread out, but it is beautiful and we enjoyed walking around the lake to get to the foodcourt each morning. If you do not want to walk, you can just take the internal bus.

When we went to the Caribbean Beach, the line for check in was long (snaked around at least once through the queue). I thought it would take forever. Total time was twenty minutes (I timed it) although it did feel longer.

There is a bus stop right there at the Customs House so you can go to a park right after check in. And you can use the internal buses to get around. If you have trouble walking, you might want to request (now) a room close to a bus stop. And maybe close to the food court and main pool as well. You can request that now and mention that you do have trouble walking.

The one thing we took notice of when we were checking in at Caribbean Beach is the check in area is louder than most. We thought that was because there isn't anywhere for the kids and families to spread out. Everyone has to be in the same room for the whole time.

When I checked in this past August around 1:00 pm, we walked right up to the counter - no wait at all. We were lucky, I guess. But in the past I've only had to wait for two or three people ahead of me.

There is a bus stop outside the custom house. You can take an internal bus to your room or hop on whatever park bus you like.

We never have a problem with check in and we go during spring break! Last year I think I waited 10 minutes for a CM. There was one year that I remember a few years back, that I think I waited about 20 minutes or so, but that was the longest. We rent a car so we never use the internal bus, but I have seen it and people do use. You'll have no problems, have fun!
