Cazgals "Our Lucky Nugget" Trip Report - Day One

Me 36, loves Disney, been to Anaheim when I was much younger, but not yet been to DLRP.

DH 43, never been to Disney .... bless !

DD 7, like me loves all things Disney.


Monday 7th April

Car packed and readu to go as planned at 10.30am ... drove down to Ashford in little over 4 hours, arriving nice and early at the Eureka Leisure Park.

Managed to book into our Travel Lodge before going across to the Cineworld cinema and going to see The Spiderwick Chronicles - a film my DD7 has been dying to see.

We all really enjoyed the film - a great way to start our trip. After it had finished we went to Pizza Hut for a bite to eat, before going back to the Travel Lodge for an early night. The room itself was clean enough - but a little dated and tired. The beds were comfy and the room warm ... but I didn't get much sleep as I was too excited about the following day ... and horror of horrors a sore throat had started ! Eeppp ! Hope I wsn't going to get a cold.
