Caution Days Inn Westgate

We stayed one night at the Days Inn Westgate. We have a DVC timeshare and didn't want to use the higher points on Sat. night. On the internet I found the Days Inn Westgate and got a really good rate. I even asked a travel agent friend..she said its a national chain so it should be OK.

We arrived in the room the carpet was filthy, sink and bath tub had a lot to be desired. Looked like steam damage in the ceiling area of the tub along with yucky looking caulk. Sheets looked clean so we went to sleep only to be awaken by a lost traveler at 11:45pm--scared us to death, kept trying to open our door. The next day one of my sons was covered with about 8 bites of some sort of bug. Took to days on Benedryl to make them stop itcing.

So, beware if you have booked this hotel
